I am not sure that it ever worked, but within a week, I am sure now that it does not work. I bought this on the strength of the other reviews, specifically to have a battery-by-battery charger. I have tried to charge several batteries in it in the last two days, and it does not.The packaging is also reprehensible.
Works quick & well, I use them for a digital camera, it really helps to have great long lasting batteries.
Kodak should stick to film and let pentax, fuji, and cannon handle the cameras and let energizer and duracell handle the batteries and the chargers. Put them in my camera and it wouldnt turn on. I went out and bought new batteries for my digital camera and when they finally died I put them in this charger and left them overnight. Avoid this and Kodak digital cameras. I got one of these over a year ago and Ive come to conclusion that it just doesnt work. I never got any batteries with mine and it simply does not charge batteries at all. So I left the batteries in the charger for 48 hours and still nothing.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. I recieved the [no] PC version, which is not what I wanted. I ordered this as it was one of the only ~1-2hr chargers that came bundled with Precharged (Hybrid) Batteries - Or so I thought. Apparently according to the vendor (Your Deal) item K6200-PC is the same as K6200 (no PC, PC=precharged) in Amazon's inventory listing - thus there is no control over which product you get. It was a present and didn't have time to mess around with returns - I bought a spare set of Hybrids separately.
This ia handy item to have for your digital camera when you do not have a rechargable battery and charger. Got this for my granddaughter for her camera and she really like ir compared to having to keep replacing batteries and I like the fact that I do not have to keep buying them.
